Miserable weekend for players abroad as Luchanga makes euro debut

Teen striker Conlyde Luchanga over the weekend made his euro debut when he came off the bench in his team Hapoel Ra’anana’s 3 – 0 home loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Luchanga who signed for the Liga ha’ Al side earlier in the month was named on the substitutes bench together with Rogers Kola while Emmanuel Mbola started the match.

Ra’anana who are 14th on the log where 2 – 0 down by the 54th minute and the coach decided to go with an all Zambian attack when he made a double sub to introduce Luchanga and Kola in the 66th minute.

Luchanga’s enthusiam showed as he was booked a minute after getting on the pitch for a rushed challenge.

The two failed to help their club find the net as their team conceded another in the 84th minute for the game to end 3 – 0.

In Armenia, Lubambo Musonda’s Gandzasar fell to a fourth straight defeat when they lost 2 – 0 to Alashkert in the Armenian Premier league.

The Zambian international played the entire game but was unable to influence the game enough to help his team win.

Lubambo has played in all six of his team’s games completed 90 minutes in all.

In China, James Chamanga this time started on the bench and was a 46th minute substitute for his team Liaoning Whowin when they lost 6 – 2 to log leaders Guangzhou Evergrande.

Chamanga has played in 24 of his team’s 25 games and it was the first time that he was starting on the bench when he was available for selection.

He remains the club’s top scorer on 13 goals and is third on the top scorers chart.

Jacob Mulenga is still out with injury.

In France, Stopilla Sunzu made only his second league appearance for when he came off the bench in the 12th minute to replace injured Amadou in Lille’s 1 – 0 defeat to bottom placed Lorient.

However, Sunzu who has been a constant feature on the bench did not make the team that lost 2 – 1 to Toulouse on Tuesday evening.

Chisamba Lungu was also in action in the Russian Premier league but could not help his club as they went down 2 – 1 to Anzhi.

The attacking midfielder who has adopted a more advanced role for his club this season played right behind the main striker.

Gazianterspor of Turkey also lost 1 – 0 to Istanbul Basaksehir in a game Evans Kangwa played 12 minutes for the former.

Moses Phiri was an unused substitute when his team Academico Viseu lost 2 – 1 away to Desportivo Aves.

Noah Chivuta is the only player who recorded a win when his Thai team Nakhon Ratchasima beat Buriram United 2 – 0 in the Thai League.

Chivuta was an unused sibstitute.

  1. Ba zamfoot you should also be monitoring Ndumba Makache is also playing good football and scoring great goals. what a talent and a natural finisher he is.

  2. @Rodgers Kabwata I agree with you technically this Boy Ndumba seems to be way better than most of the strikers we have why not give him a chance ba Wada. most of our players lack the technical aptitude hence a lot of sloppiness in the field.
    Players need to be drilled at a young age with simple things like ball control skills, running with the ball and proper crossing etc. A player can be talented but if the the technical skills are not inputted from a young age then a player will be a sore sight to behold in the pitch.

  3. This guy has got what it takes to play in the national team. his so skillful and has an eye for goals. he can add something to our current national team. let the coach look at this guy.
