Micho to watch AFCON winner closely in a friendly match tonight

The Chipolopolo Boys will play another friendly match at Lusaka’s Heroes Stadium on Sunday night with an unnamed Lusaka based club following the cancelling of  the scheduled Monday’s friendly match against Sierra Leone, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

Zambia coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojević will use the match at Heroes Stadium to blend the South African based players and the local guns.

On Thursday, Zambia beat  Zambian Super League side Red Arrows 1 nil courtesy of Spencer Sautu’s goal.

Against Arrows, goalkeeper Allan Chibwe got the nod in goal while Felix Chepeshi and Zachariah Chilongoshi started as right and left full back with Adrian Chama and Golden Mafweta in central defence.

Benson Sakala and Paul Katema were paired in midfield alongside Collins Sikombe.

For tonight’s friendly match the likes of 2012 AFCON winner Nathan Sinkala, Rally Bwalya, and Clatous  Chama should be starting on the A-side.

Zambia host Algeria on Thursday in a mouthwatering Cameroon 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier at Heroes Stadium.

With Belgium based winger Fashion Sakala and Russian based duo of attacking midfielder Klings Kangwa and striker Evans Kangwa ruled out, Micho will have to do bank on the form of the African based players.

Enoch Mwepu, Patson Daka and Lubambo Musonda from Europe should be arriving by Tuesday.
