Collins Mbesuma was on the score sheet for Mpumalanga Black Aces when they progressed to the next round of the Nedbank Cup after beating Maritzburg United 2-0 in their Last 16 tie.
Mbesuma converted from the spot in the 14th minute after Jayiya was brought down by Mario Booysens in the box.
Mbesuma could have extended his team’s lead in the right after the restart but he failed to make contact with a low cross .
Aces had to wait until injury time to put the game beyond the reach of Maritzburg United when Limbikani Mzava scored from a free kick.
Country man Mukuka Mulenga did not make the starting line-up.
Already leading top scorers chart in the PSL, the Zambian striker continues to enjoy good form in front of goal.

Ba Zamfoot stop misleading people mbesuma came off for mukuka mulenga in the 2nd half. He requested to be substituted as comfirmed by his coach after the game..
Okay granted…Zamfoot should have confirmed the story but surely lets be not hard on them, they do good to inform us on Zambian football concerns than any firm has ever done 😉 !
NKANA till the end, 2016 niyatu.
Yes zamfoot stop misleading the people mukuka mulenga was a second half substiate
My team zesco is back now ,ba nkana for now forget its still for zesco even this season.zesco live wire wapya baisa
Guys who are accusing zamfoot for misleading the readers for reporting that Mukuka Mulenga did not make the starting line-up, what is your point? Mukuka Mulenga played as a sub in the second half but was not part of the starting line-up. By not making the starting line-up does not mean he did not play at all.
let the younger onez clain the chairs for the elderz nkana palibe chake zanaco for lyf
Mukuka Mulenga did not make the start line up. My understanding of this is that he was on the bench.Zamfoot has not said he did not play.
If you don’t make the start line up,it means you are not even on the bench but maybe you are watching from the stands or not even at the stadium.
Mukuka mukuka mulenga made the startline up, he featured in the match, played and was substituted. Therefore, he made the start line up,the story in this context, is misleading, indeed.
@KOPALA check your facts I watched the match and Mukuka mulenga came on as a second half substitute he did not make the starting line up
You guys are really yearning for debate!!!!!Ofcause Zamfoot could have made it easier by just completing the story that he didnt start but played as a second half sub!!!!
simple English people can’t understand. ….big up ba Zamfoot. ….don’t mind the nincompoops
Good thing he at least gets some game time.
Can Mbesuma’s goal and not goals, as reported above, also be attributed to Zamfoot Misleading? I guess Zamfoot is a blog so we an expect accuracy issues since there is no Editor to perfect stories
Did not make in the starting line up… It means he was on the bench.. Zamfoot never said he did not play.. They gave us a biased report which derail the progress of zambian football.. Mukuka mulenga is currently regaing his fitness level. His performance was affected by lack of game time.. If all was fair mukaka by far he is better than chirwa and that stiff c . Chama..
