Emmanuel Mayuka came off the bench to score a goal for Metz FC but it was not enough to help his side win as they succumbed to a 2 – 1 loss away to Wasquehal in the Coupe de France.
The Zambian striker was today not named in the starting line-up and was introduced in the 71st minute with his side trailing by a goal.
The hosts extended their lead before Mayuka pulled one back in the 87th minute.
The loss ended Metz run in the cup competition.
The best player Zambia has at the moment,but I know Luandamina will still sideline him in preference for katema and Jack Chirwa!
For whatever reasons, Mayuka suffered a serious loss of confidence, the quality of opposition notwithstanding, I hope the goals he is scoring really mean he is back. Mayuka at his best is a quality striker at par with anybody anywhere. Good lucky

Am shocked to hear that MayuKa is benched in division 1. “He came off the bench” meaning he is not dependable even in division 1, I can only advice Mayuka to come back to Zambia and play for either Zesco united or Zanaco FC, that way he came restart his career. There’s nothing left for him in Europe

The main problem in Zambia today is luck of motivation . You can not give what you do not have. Most of the post here luck motivation.The boy scores guess what no motivation

As we all know teams love to rest/bench their first team players in cup matches. Remember Mayuka just came back from injury. They played against a lowly rated team and a good chance to test other strikers.
They were 2 down when he came in and he still scored a goal. That should show you the level of respect the coach has for him. He believed he can savage something for the team and Mayuka delivered(wasn’t enough though).
Mayuka is a first 11 player and you can’t judge him base on a cup match.

Mayuka is silowly rediscovering his form.we need to encourage him to continue working hard as he is doing.
In a cup game a lot of teams rest they key players they give chance to those players who doesn’t play.infact mayuka should remain in france in order for him to develop let him continue working hard.he will come good.next season mayuka will be a hit in france
Mayuka performs better when he comes off the bench. Starting on the bench doesn’t owez mean that u r not among the best, but a strategy by the coach to introduce u as an impact player. Big up ba Emma n continue working hard.
Mayuka is better than any other striker in Zambia .. I foresee him scoring more than ten goals . Mayuka should partner kangwa or kola.
