A brace for Kangwa in Israel

Chipolpolo striker Evans Kangwa was on Saturday back to scoring ways when he netted a brace for his team Hapoel Ra’anana’s 3 – 1 win away against Bnei Yahuda.

Kangwa was named in the starting line-up together with Emmanuel Mbola who has been an ever present figure in the Ra’anana team.

The 23 year old striker scored the second and third goal for Ra’anana in the 34th and 36th minute to take his tally for the season to five in 12 games.

Both goals showed his predatory instincts first slamming a loose from outside the box into the net before he capitalized on a goalkeeping mistake to score into an empty net.

He was substituted in the 78th minute while Mbola played the entire game.

Kangwa last scored for his team on 20th September and he is joint fourth on the top scorers chart.

  1. i really want to be positive about Kangwa, but well, its difficult. Starting with these goals, they were chanced. He didnt toment the defence and then score, nor did he shoot from an impossible stance to show his extra ordinary quality to score. Explains why the last time he scored is September!!!!Thats pathetic for a striker. The games I ve watched him play, he strikes me to be selfish and too obvious. Where you expect him to pass, he tries to shoot in goal, or tries to dribble his way through(but fails). He s been given enough chance at the national team, he is below average and we should look elsewhere until he improves

    • I noticed that as well. If you look at the video. He didn’t even seem excited when his teammate scored. Hopefully he grows out of it, because teammates, fans, coaches notice these things.

  2. The young man is doing well. We’ll see if he can come and unseat Kalengo in the starting line. This is good news though, Mayuka looks to be finding himself too.

  3. in south Africa is going to be kept on bench until they finish him off,so that they keep on beating as at national level in a tournament. Becareful with south Africa,it’s better to go East or somewhere else not South

  4. south Africa is good for making bucks,I don’t know about Sudan. But the Sudanese team is a seasonal campaigner in CAF Champions league matches.

  5. Yes its a second tier in thailand.but south Africa is good because that league is more publicised than the sudanese league, but he should avoid joning teams like sundowns, kaizer chiefs and orlando pirates because these clubs they finish a lot of forgner players

  6. ,so you want maykua to break ghanians hearts huh?hahaha see this is the problem with zambia..you focus all energy on Ghana because you want to rub shoulders with the best players in the best league so you can imagine your weak zambian players in top leagues..ZAMBIA NEEDS TO FIND ANOTHER MOTIVATION TO WIN APART FROM PLAYING GHANA IS THE ONLY TIME YOUR TEAM IS 100% MOTIVATED THAT YOU FORGET ABOUT TEAMS LIKE LESOTHO AND ONLY TO BE BEATEN BY GHANA IN THE END WHEN IT MATTERS MOST..KEEP FOOLING YOURSELF PARADOX HAHAHAHAHAHA

  7. Kalengoal and his employers should not rush. The media can be deceiving at times . Let Kalengoal prove himself on the international scene . If he propels Zesco into the champions league semis he will become a valuable player.Zesco should hold on to him becouse he is has adapted well his teamates pscychologicaly.Zesco should offer him a good deal.Lwandamina will be the biggest loser if throws wrong card.

  8. what has ghana won in the past 33 yrs nothing so what is there to write home about you win afcon when there where 8 teams participating prove your worth now .

  9. It is always good to see our strikers score but they must aim high and start scoring a minimum of 20 goals a season.

We also need most of players playing at the highest level and this will only be possible if they are ambitious, self driven and work extra hard.

Mental strength and staying power is the ultimate key to the success of our players _ bravo to Kalaba and Singuluma for their longevity at the highest level of African score.

    Happy festivities
