French based striker Emmanuel Mayuka could be back in action this weekend after recovering from a harmstring injury.
The 24 year old forward picked up the injury before the October FIFA international break and he has missed his club’s league games.
After being on the sidelines, the former Southampton striker is raring to go.
“Emma has been looking good in training and sharp,” a ZamFoot Crew insider said on Monday from France.
Mayuka is on the books of French Ligue 2 side Metz who are currently third on the log.
The ex-Kabwe Warriors and Young Boys ace played 5 games with a return of a goal before he got injured.
Though he was left out the Zambia’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya, most Chipolopolo faithful still see him as one of the Country’s top striker and are hoping he could the rekindle the form he showed in Switzerland and Israel.

wonderful news
Lets be serious when you are playing brazil, Germany, Ghana or Nigeria you need big players. Those players are fwayo, sunzu, Mayuka, mbola, evans kangwa, chisamba lungu, mbesuma, all the TP Mazembe boys etc. You cannot experiment. Experimentation cost us against egypt and guinea bissau.
that boy at tp mazembe kabaso chongo is very good. Lwandamina must stop being useless and call him. we are tired of those weak full backs.

Sunzu scored 4 lille lastnite
Yes Sunzu scored in a cup win against troyes
Stopilla Sunzu on Wednesday night scored his first competitive goal for Lille.
The Zambia defender scored one goal in Lille’s 2-1 victory over Troyes in the last 16 of the French Ligue Cup.
Sunzu, who missed Lille’s 2-1 home loss to Olympique Marseille in a Ligue 1 match over the weekend due to suspension, equalised for Lille in the 49th minute after Troyes had taken a 1-0 lead into the break.
The defender, who is on a season-long loan move from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, played the full 90 minutes for Lille in the Ligue Cup game.
Even Fwayo Tembo scored his first goal after his second return to the club Astra as the coach tries to help the talented Zambian lad who is a very big problem when it come to discipline
