Green Buffaloes got back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon after dispatching Kabwe warriors by 2-0 at Nkoloma Stadium ,in a week 13 encounter.
Both teams (Green Buffaloes and Kabwe Warriors) came into this encounter having lost their last encounters against Lumwana Radiants and Zanaco respectively .
Green Buffaloes reacted by making a change on their technical bench while Kabwe warriors worked on there defense organization as Chabby Chabula talked about in his interview after losing to Zanaco.
Green Buffaloes made five changes to there team sheet as the likes of Paul Simpemba ,Martin Phiri ,David Sakala, Emmanuel Museka and Aubrey Chela came in for the likes of Golden Mashata ,Mween Mumbi,Eddie Sinyangwe , George Ngoma and Chris Mungule who were dropped from the line up .
Kabwe Warriors came into this match unchanged as they kept faith in the likes of Twiza Chaibela ,Jimmy Ndhlovu and Prince Mumba.
Green Buffaloes started the match like a house on fire and created good chances for Martin Phiri but he could not bury them . The first half was dominated by Green Buffaloes as they passed the ball well and were more composed than Kabwe Warriors who always seemed to be in a hurry when they had the ball hence giving it away on a number of occasions.
Green Buffaloes were a team on a mission and they came with the same hunger they had in the first half but the only difference is this time they were ruthless with there chances as Aubrey Chela gave them the lead with a beautiful header off a Robin Siame corner kick in the 68 minute .
Kabwe Warriors almost got back in the game through an Ali Sadiki free kick but unfortunately it hit the post and Jimmy Ndhlovu missed the follow up .
Green Buffaloes scored again in the 78th minute again through an Aubrey Chela header as he out jumped the Kabwe warriors defense to head home a Robin Siame cross. Green Buffaloes managed to see off the game as Justin Chinama managed to get a victory in his first match as head coach of Green Buffaloes .
