Forest Rangers head coach Tenant Chilumba was quick to heap praise on log leaders Prison leopards after his side recorded a two nill defeat during the MTN/FAZ week 13 match played at the President stadium on Saturday afternoon in Kabwe at the hands of the Correction Boys.
Chilumba felt his side lacked concentration hence conceding what he termed as silly goals. He also felt the loss was inevitable as his side missed way too many chances.
“Yeah congratulations to Prison Leopards they put up a good game, they played well in the second half and we, of course, conceded two silly goals,” he said.
“We lacked concentration in both halves, so they were creating chances, it’s difficult to win a game when you miss a lot of chance.”
“We played on the same pitch today the pitch was much better,” he added.
When asked about the upcoming ABSA CUP he had this to say “playing ABSA is one of our objectives, we just have to win the two remaining games so that we lessen the pressure and play ABSA”.
” Prison has a very good technical bench, the goalkeeper coach and the other two assistant coaches I have worked with them”, he concluded.
The loss meant Fole Malembe are stuck in fourth place and passed up a chance to go top while the win for the Collection Boys took them to the summit as they opened a two-point lead.
Fole Malembe’s next game is a rescheduled match against the pensioners Napsa Stars FC on Wednesday, 20th January 2020.
Hello. Good and educative articles on your website. But please proofread before putting the articles on the website. For example, referring to Prison Leopards as “Collection” is wrong! Itis ‘correction’ instead. Thanks
