Former Zambia U20 forward Golden Mashata has joined Israeli side Hapoel Ranaana
The 24 year old has signed a 12 month loan deal from MTN Super League side Green Buffaloes with an option to buy.
Mashata will compete in the Second tier of Israeli football alongside fellow Zambians like Kennedy Musonda of , and Gift Mphande.
The Happy Hearts product has been a one of the stand out performers for both Green Buffaloes and the MTN Super League.
Mashata’s impressive performance was first noticed by Charles Bwale back in 2018 when he called him for his first U-20 duty and convinced him to land a contract at Zambia Army-sponsored side Green Buffaloes.
In 2019 when the Zambia U-20 national team won the COSAFA U-20 tournament, Mashata was one of the players who were instrumental in the coach Oswald Mutapa tutored outfit.
He will follow in the footsteps of players like 2012 AFCON winner Emmanuel Mayuka, Emmanuel Mbola and Conlyde Luchanga.
