Green Buffaloes Womens defender Lushomo Mweemba was named the player of the match following her stellar performance against Lesotho Defence Force.
Buffaloes beat Lesotho Defence Force 2-1 on Monday in a final group match at the on going CAF Champions League| Cosafa Qualifiers in South Africa.
Lushomo and his teammates will now focus on the semi final clash.
Last year Green Buffaloes beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the final to qualify to the CAF Champions League.
Lushomo was also part of the Copper Queens’ squad which participated at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.
She scored Zambia’s first goal against Costa Rica at the World Cup.
