LUSAKA USHERS IN NEW LEADERSHIP…as Maliti retains exco seat

Lusaka province has become the second region to elect a new executive committee with Jordan Maliti retaining his seat.

Maliti polled a convincing 42 votes ahead of Njovu who got 19.

The vice chairperson position was scooped by Pride Mulonga who beat Patrick Mwendapole.

Mulonga sauntered away with 43 votes while Mwendapole got 17.

For the Youth Representative position Danny Chima got 32 votes ahead of Joseph Tembo who polled 28.

In the race for Women Representative Samantha Miyanda cantered away with 52 votes ahead of Belinda Mulenga who polled nine.

Nephas Masiliso has been elected as Committee Member after getting 43 votes ahead of Chisenga Ng’uni who received 18.

The conclusion of the Lusaka poll shifts focus to Central Province where the football family will usher in new officer bearers for the period 2025-2029.
