Zambian wing wizard Lubambo Musonda is expecting a tough match when they face Polish out-fit SSK Lech Poznań on Thurday in a UEFA Europa league qualifying round encounter away in Poznań.
The 23 year old winger is alive to the fact that they will be playing a big team but believes the match will only be won on the pitch.
“The game will be a tough match knowing the team we are playing against is a very big team with quality players too but football is won on the pitch and who ever puts in more hard work wins, So we will put in all our best,” Musonda told Zambianfootball.co.zm in an exclusive interview from Poland.
Musonda and his Kapan side will face Poznań in a UEFA Europa League First qualifying round, Game 1 on Thursday, 12 July at 8:45 PM at the Stadion Miejski Poznan in Poznań.
Poznań’s best campaign in the UEFA Europa League came in 2011 when they reached the round of 16 after finishing second in a group which had Manchester City, Juventus and Redbull Salzburg .
I wonder why our local coaches dont consider
this player for international duties.
I also wonder why local coaches could drop this talented young footballer. I hope this time around, the new Chipolopolo coach will consider him.
A little more patience before the drible and turn of pace then we have real international player. Speak the language of football with your body. Write your thoughts on the turf. Make the ball talk. The ball makes music when properly stroked. At the moment a bit like a rabbit this guy. One of Zambias greatest potential though. Take a little time on his actions. Superstars do. Learn how to draw attention. Take a breathe without turning over possession. Make yourself big. A bit chiky but respectful especially to the fans and officials. Football, what does it mean?
