Local Bullets off to Israel

Local based Chipolopolo players have traveled to Israel ahead of the November 17 international friendly match with Israel at the Petach Tikva Stadium.

Stand-in coach Moses Sichone led the local based Bullets as they headed to the ‘Holy Land’ for the FIFA International Friendly match.

The foreign based contingent led by Leicester City forward Patson Daka is expected to fly directly to Israel.

Scottish based striker Fashion Sakala Jnr is doubtful for the match having sustained an injury while playing for his club FC Rangers about a week ago.

This will also be the first match the Chipolopolo will be playing since the premature retirement of skipper Enock Mwepu due to a hereditary heart condition

Zambia will be using Thursday’s match to prepare for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that resume in March next year.
