Chipolopolo forward Fashion Sakala is a major doubt for the Copper Bullets international friendly match against Israel on 17th November.
Sakala has become the latest Rangers player to be sidelined through injury after picking up a muscle injury on Sunday.
Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst confirmed the development during a pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
“Lowry is fit but not in the squad for tomorrow, Fashion has a minor muscle issue from Sunday and will be out for a week and back for sure after the World Cup.”
A number of Rangers players have been ruled out for large parts of the season, including Ridvan Yilmaz, Ryan Jack, Connor Goldson, John Souttar, Filip Helander and Kemar Roofe.
Sakala has enjoyed game time in the recent past playing in 10 of the last 11 matches as compared to four in the previous 17.
Sakala is part of Moses Sichone’s squad named for the November 17th FIFA Window international friendly match against Israel in Petah Tikva.
