  1. Time? That USA time, but I think if the game was to start at 6pm in Zambia, then it is just delayed for 10 minutes, I see its been moved to 11:10 am my time.

  2. 14′ Zambia 0-0 Congo. Collins Mbesuma releases Lubambo with a backheel but Kalengo and Kalaba fail to make a good run to connect Lubambo”s superb cross

  3. 30′ Kalaba magic. Down the left wing after being released by Nathan Sinkala the captain skins the defender and his banana kick narrowly misses the target.

  4. If countries like sao Tome can televise their games live, one wonders why Zambia is still backward when it comes to tech, its because of the corrupt governments. Faster internet with broad bandwidth should be easy to access at this day in age, but not pa Zed. What a shame. Anyways good luck to Zed.

  5. 37″ Chris Katongo finds Mbesuma and King David sends in a 25 yard thunderbolt which the congolese gk paries but Lubambo misses from the rebound. Lubambo should have done better.

  6. 41′ Sinkala hits the upfront with another thunderbolt outside the box. Kalaba started the move which also involved Mbesuma and Kalengo.

  7. Good display by Zambia. Goals will come in the second half. I am please by his display by the Chipolopolo Boys, which has never happened in a long time. Lwandamina is spot on tactically. Goal will come in the second half. I am positive.

  8. Half Time: Zambia 0-0 Congo. free flowing football from Zambia. Mbesuma, Kalaba and Lubambo have been superb. Kalengo hasnt disappointed while Chris Katongo has come into the game.

Thw defensive players have bn on holiday, just looking out for the occasional counter attack.

Best game Levy Mwanawasa Stadium just lack goals and killer instinct from the Chipolopolo Boys attacking

  9. I hope we don’t get to regret the lost opportunities and chances we had. Finish them off now. Congo will pack the bus in defense hoping for a counter attack or a scoreless draw, so we should very careful on the counter, otherwise keep up with the pressure and they will break.

  10. 51′ Zambia 0 – 0 Congo
Kalaba cuts in from the left and finds Chris but the Congolese defenders do a good job to defende

  11. 70′ Zambia 1 – 0 Congo
Corner to Congo but Sinkala heads way and sets Zambia on a counter attack through Lubambo but they clear for a corner to Zambia

  12. Experienced players must now show up. I agree with @ Don that this is where we’re most vulnerable (after scoring). The temptation is to go for the killer punch, but we must not concede.

  13. 79′ Zambia 1 – 1 Congo
Winstone does well to win the ball and plays a through ball for Clatous but they recover and win the ball from Clatous

  14. Keeper does not play at his Club, Sunzu is a reserve too. What do expect? Katonga back after ama sex issues awe mwe twanaka

  15. 83′ Zambia 1 – 1 Congo
Nkausu does well to dribble his way way into the D but his fouled and Kalaba’s free kick is good but the keeper saves well

  16. Technically Congo have won this match because any serious mind knows the golden rule – Never drop points at home and try to earn a point or 3 away.

  17. We allowed them to come into the game in the second half and they scored. Second half was also not so good. We should have won the game in the first half. Hard luck guys. Wish you well in Congo.

    • Yes we can beat them in Congo but that shouldn’t take away the fact that we have an ongoing tendency of not being able to defend a lead. Everytime we take the lead our players seem to lose concetration (look at the pics of how players celebrated Kalengo’s goal). 30 mins to go and you’re celebrating like its the 90th min?

  18. I thought I warned you loudmouths yesterday that this Congo team has a plan and the are using the mentality left behind for them by Claude le Roy so they fear no team. Well this is not beyond the Chipolopolo but a loss in Brazeville is game over. I will see what YouTube’s got. I wished I watched the game.

  19. Andrew Kamanga need to hire Steven Keshi Immediately. With the way Nigeria treated him, I am sure Keshi would love to work in a stable environment like Zambia. He single handedly made Togo relevant at the time, then he made a downward spiral Nigeria legit again by winning them an AFCON in 2013 and taking them to the world cup under difficulty circumstances. Any stupid human being does not see how great of a coach Keshi is and with the calibre of Zambian players, Keshi will win us another AFCON and take us to the world cup, please do the right thing and bring us Keshi. Zambia will be a very dangerous team with Keshi at the helm. Do the right thing Andrew.

  20. AFCON 2012 Champions- Only 4 years down the lune and the champiins seem tohave fizzled out. This is by far a very good group for you to reappear again. Even Liberia managed to beat Tunisia. This is a wake up call. The team needs a different mentality an approach to winning and holding on even in home games. I wonder what the World Cup qualifiers would look like.

    • That is why we need a coach that can bring that, my pick would be Keshi, proven record in Africa, our players will have a lot of respect for him and will buy in his philosophy.

      • @TC are you sure about Keshi? Claude Le Roy would do for me. But i get your point of the need for us to have a technically and tactically astute coach.

  21. Why does zambians always underrate opponents before the start of any match? Why? It baffles my mind so much because if only the fans are ignorant of this tendencies,it wld have been understandable but this behaviour trickled down from the top thru the media to the ordinary fans!

I dont understand why sport media like yours truly even indulged in such destructive tendencies as they should know better and even educate the fans about the unpredictability of the african game!

Anytime, zambia plays an opponent, the fans treats them like nothing because the media overhyped these boys so muc so that, a draw which is not all that bad is taken with a pinch of salt!

There ll be so much mixed match results for this week because of the long break and hence a team picking up a draw for barely training for three days is not so bad!
