French Ligue 1 side Lille coach Frederic Antonetti has described Stopilla Sunzu as a great lad who is an example to young players.
Speaking after he saw his team beat Nantes 3 – 0 in a game Sunzu contributed a goal, the Lille coach explained that he has four good players in Sunzu’s position and it is heart breaking to make the choice of who plays.
“He is a great boy. Simply, in his position, I have four good players, we must make choices an it is heart breaking every time,” Antonetti said.
“As I told the group I’m glad he’s gotten a bit of playing time because he deserves it. He does not let anything in training. This is an example to quote for young players who are a little face when they are not there … He is always equal to himself and he is rewarded. I am very happy for him,” the coach added.
Sunzu has only played in 9 of his team’s 32 games this season.

Keep on working hard.. Hope tha coach will extend your contract
I hope he moves to a more appreciating club..
Well done Sunzu.
A batch of B.S from antonnetti you started him 9 out of 32 match then you’re saying its heart breaking f-off ,if sunzu were brazilian , french or italian antonnetti would have started him in not less than 25 match in any case sunzu has shut your mouth antonnetti my fellow zambian sunzu please move on to another club clearly this bloke has no plan for you other than his three other players before you find a club maintain high fitness levels have a great pre-season god will reward you for winning us the africa cup hold your head up SUNZUUUUUUUUUUUU
If there are four good players in his position, and you divide 32 by 4 you get 8. So If the coach is rotating the players then it means he is trying to give an equal chance to play. So out of four games, a player can only start once, and come in s a sub once. In all, out of four, you can play two games. One as a starter, one as a bench warmer.
This could have worked okay if the club was playing in everything, i.e .champions league, cup games, League 1
You have a point but Sunzu is physically at his peak; a player at that stage of his career is made to play every week except when he is injured. The coach must rather rest his older defenders more often.
sunzu should work hard love what you
to be successful takes hardworking and love what you do plz so every play must work hard
Only the sky is the limit for Sunzu.
In europe zambian players are not rate among the best especially in france sunzu is one of the best defend at Lilli but is always on bench
Keep on working hard, that’s all you can do as the rest is out of your hands.
