Zesco United coach George Lwandamina has called on Zesco United and Nkana fans to be calm during this evenings CAF Confederation Cup game.
Lwandamina asked the fans to leave their emotions at home when going to the Stadium. He went on to remind them that football was meant to be enjoyed.
” The fans have to be calm, It will be an emotional game. They have to leave the emotions at home. There has to be sanity. Football is for people to enjoy and not fight the better team will carry the day,” he said.
Coming to the game itself Lwandamina feels there is nothing different except the ne of the competition they will be facing the same Nkana side they have been facing.
“It will still be the same game. It just be the same yes of course it will bring other dimensions being the first time two clubs are meeting in this competition,” he said.
His opposite number Beston Chambeshi is expecting an entertaining game.
“We have been preparing for this encounter and we facing Zesco United, a good team with a good technical bench and players and we expect an entertaining game,” he said.
The two giants of Zambian football will lock horns in the first ever CAF Confederation Cup game between two Zambian clubs this evening at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
