Lazarus Kambole joins Young Africans

Zambian striker Lazarus Kambole has completed his move to Tanzanian side Young African Sports Club.

The Former ZESCO United forward has penned a 2-year deal with Yanga.

Kambole joins the 2021/22 Champions from Kaizer Chiefs after leaving the South African club at the end of the PSL season.

Kambole arrives in Tanzania following three difficult seasons at Naturena, where he struggled for game time.

He had arrived at Chiefs with a high profile after being a top performer in the Zambian Super League for Zega Mambo, having also been their standout player in the Caf Champions League.

Kambole made headlines across the African continent when he scored a hat-trick in five minutes in a Caf Champions League match against Eswatini giants Mbabane Swallows.

Caf later confirmed that Kambole’s hat-trick is the fastest recorded in the history of the continental tournament.

Kambole boasts of 7 goals for the Copper Bullets in 15 appearances.
