Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa was on target on Sunday as Hapoel Be’er Sheva beat 10 man SC Ashdod 3-1 in an Israeli Premier League encounter.
Kangwa doubled the lead in the 61st minute after Matan Baltaxa had put the hosts in the lead 3 minutes into the second stanza.
An own goal from Guy Mizrahi cut Hapoel Be’er Shevaās lead into half but Alon Turgeman scored in additional time to seal the win.
Ashdod finished the match with ten players after Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyei was sent off for a second bookable offence in the first minute of additional time.
The win takes Hapoel Be’er Sheva to 18 points and in third place just a point behind log leaders Beitar Jerusalem who have played a game less.
Kangwa has now been involved in six goals so far this season, 2 goals and four assists.
