Emmanuel Banda opens goal account in Saudi Arabia

Chipolopolo midfielder Emmanuel Banda opened his goal account in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

Banda netted a brace to help his club Al Tai edge ten man Al Jandal to a 3-2 win in a Saudi Arabia Division One League encounter.

The former Nchanga Rangers midfielder levelled matters in the 34th minute after Abdullah Matuq had put Jandal in the lead six minutes into the match.

Banda then scored the winner in the 67th minute to seal maximum points for Al Tai.

Malian international Ibrahima Tandia scored the other goal for Al Tai while Muaid Moaafa scored the other goal for ten man Jandal.

The win takes Al Tai to 4th place on the log with 14 points after 8 matches. Neom FC lead the log with 22 points.
