Former Zambia U20 national team winger Kenneth Kalunga has joined Azerbaijan Premier League side Kapaz PFK.
Kapaz who are an Azerbaijani football club based in Ganja, which competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the highest tier of Azerbaijan football, took to social media to confirm the development.
Kalunga has penned a one year deal with the three time Azerbaijan Premier League winners.
Kapaz beat off competition from fellow Azerbaijani Premier League side Araz-Naxçıvan PFK.
“Our team, which continues preparations for the new season, has realized one more transfer. “Kapaz” added Kenneth Kalunga to his staff. A contract was signed with the 29-year-old midfielder until the end of the season. The last club of the Zambian footballer was Mingachevir.”
The former Lusitania de Lourosa winger impressed in the Azerbaijan First League (Azerbaijani: I Liqa) where he was the second highest goalscorer with 15 goals.
