MALI are targeting finishing top of Group D and their coach Djibri Drame has warned Zambia to brace for a tough African Nations Championship (CHAN) round three encounter.
“It won’t be a walk in the park for the Chipolopolo. It will be a tough match. We all want to win. I have looked at how they [Zambia] play and I am analysing their style.
“We know Zambia is among the continent’s best teams as evidenced by their success at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and I am sure every team targets beating them. So, it is not different with us [Mali],” Drame said.
On inspirational Chipolopolo skipper Christopher Katongo and Isaac Chansa, Drame added that the two 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winning players have been key to Zambia’s good play.
“Katongo is a top quality player and an Africa Cup winner. His experience seems to be working the magic for Zambia. Chansa has equally played well and I believe the two will be key in Wednesday’s clash,” Drame said.

The former Bidvest Wits and Ajax Cape Town player will be training with the Buccaneers for an indefinite period of time, as he aims at landing a PSL contract with the Soweto giants.
A source close to the club told the Siya crew that the 28-year-old was involved in a club friendly after starting training with the team on Monday.
“He started training on Monday and he still looks good,” the source said.
“You can see he has shown he still has it in him as he has been playing in the friendly game today. We have to wait and see what will happen now.”?
Mulenga has made 124 appearances in the Premier Soccer League for six different clubs, scoring 22 goals and making 19 assists.
Hope Lwandamina and his technical team watch 2day’s games that we analyse our 1/4 final opponents closely.

The other guys need to come the party as it seems the Malian Coach got a plan to shut down Katongo. Abena Daka, this is your time to shine , be clinical in front of goal please.
The young man is watching amabosses! “Asanga baleteya!”
mr.kalusha bwalya, the 2018 russia world cup qualifiers won’t be easy. May u engage a well qualified coach. if u want the national team to loose the first 3 games then go ahead with george lwandamina. Bring in all the best foreign based players.
Malian Coach naukwatako amano panonofye but,on a good day, Katongo is too complicated for your team to handle, he pops up all over the opponent’s defense line like tornado and that’s why we call him TSUNAMI in case u didn’t know. But just in case u try to stop him Chansa,Chama Chota, Luchanga or Sautu will be free to punish your boys at will. Try it,you will only have yourself to blame, just take this as a friendly warning lest you start claiming that Ugandan coach told us to beat your boys so they can go thru while u go home like Olise and his boys.

that is just the language of the coach, otherwise he is under pressure but they wil not beat us & top the group the best results they can get from zambia its a draw. we wish chipolopolo all the best!
Beat us or not Mali we are through to the Quarter Finals, and anything can happen there. Is the Malian coach expecting that while he is watching out game on DVD Chicken George isn’t watching his teams DVDs? shallow thinking.
Ine, I was looking out for a comment from that blogger who was praying God almighty could deliver the Chipolopolo into the hands of Nigeria for a beating in this CHAN tournament.
Unfortunately its, sorry my brother your prayers will not be answered this time around… Lets try future CHANs.
