Karol Praženica joins Chipolopolo technical bench as Chambeshi and co get down to work

Slovak coach Karol Praženica has been added to the newly reconstituted Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) technical bench for the Chipolopolo Boys.

Initially ZESCO United boss Numba Mumamba was named assistant coach to Chambeshi but it seems Praženica will take his place on the technical bench.

The new technical bench has finally got down to work. Interim boss, Beston Chambeshi and Technical Advisor Aljosa Asanovic were officially welcomed at Football House this morning.

The duo conferred with FAZ president Andrew Kamanga, his deputy Dr Justin Mumba, Technical Committee chairperson Mwansa Kapyanga and General Secretary Adrian Kashala, FAZ media revealed.

Chambeshi and Asanovic will be assisted by Karol Prazencia as assistant coach and Stefan Carevic who will serve as video assistant.

The bench has been given a three-month contract that will see them oversee the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers that commence on September 1.

  1. Ba zamfoot send the message to the technical bench..

  2. Maybe these whites can teach Chambeshi some modern football since all we’ve seen from him are tactics he was taught in the 70s by abena Zoom Njovu (RIP)

  3. This looks good to me.Chambeshi is a reasonable coach and down to earth. He takes advice and not pompous. Only hope the makuwa will be able to read the game and able to put up a good defensive strategies. These are areas where Chambeshi face challenges.

  4. New coach new results we are looking foward a better future with chambeshi. Everything starts with good team selection. Please ba coach do not entertain silly recommentations. Managers bring poor material to market them in tanzania.

  5. Let’s see wat will happen we have tried all this before but failed hope there will be total commitment from the boys cause they have let us down so many a times

  6. Good move! Beston has largely been involved with the many current crop of players doing professional football in Europe. So, he’s best placed to bring us positive results.
All the best Beston and technical bench.
