Kansanshi Dynamos confirm club departures 

Relegated Kansanshi Dynamos have confirmed several departures from the club ahead of the 2024/25 National Division One season. 

Bruce Musakanya leads the list of players who have left the club after close to three years at the club. 

Musakanya joined the Mabanga Boys in September 2021 and instantly became a fan favourite winning big at the end of season awards scooping the Club’s Player of the Season award.

The Winger also walked away with the Patrons Award to make it double joy. Musakanya returns to his parent club, Red Arrows. 

Striker Jimmy Mukeya has also returned to his parent club, NAPSA Stars while Gerald Chisha , Makabaniso Magenge and Laison Thole’s contracts have expired. 

Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club wishes to inform its supporters and stakeholders of recent changes to its squad as the club continues its preparations for the 2024/25 season in the National Division One League. 

The following players will not be part of the team next season:

– Bruce Musakanya – Returning to his parent club, Red Arrows.

– Jimmy Mukeya – Returning to his parent club, NAPSA Stars.

– Philip Sakauta – Signed by another club.

– Gerald Chisha – Expiry of Contract.

– Makabiniso Magenge – Expiry of Contract.

– Laison Thole – Expiry of Contract.”

The club says it is actively pursuing new signings to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.

“The club wishes the departing players all the best in their future endeavours and thanks them for their service to Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club.” 

The Mabanga Boys were relegated from the MTN Super League last season alongside Konkola Blades, Prison Leopards and Trident.
