Greek outfit signs two Copper Queens

Copper Queens goalkeeper Hazel Nali and midfielder Susan Banda have joined Greek side OFI Crete.

Nali, 26, joins Crete on a free transfer having been unattached since last year when she suffered an ACL injury just before the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

She last played for Fatih Vatan Spor in Turkey after moving from Zambian Champions, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club.

Meanwhile Banda makes a switch from Zambian Women’s Super League giants Red Arrows. 

Banda has been one of the key players for Arrows leading the team to second place two seasons ago.

OFI Crete Women Football Club, or simply OFI, is a Greek women’s association football club based in Heraklion, Greece and part of the professional football club O.F.I.

The club was founded in 2015 and currently competes in the Greek A Division.
