Kangwanda set for Arrows debut this weekend

Red Arrows new acquisition, Albert Kangwanda is set to make his debut for his new employers on Saturday.

Kangwanda joined the Airmen after his return from a short stint in Croatia where he signed for Gorica.

This 23 year old missed Arrows’ 3-1 loss to NAPSA Stars last weekend because his International transfer certificate took too long.

Kangwanda is expected to play a part when the Airmen welcome nine time Champions, ZESCO United at Nkoloma Stadium.

Kangwanda will give Chisi Mbewe more options upfront as the defending Champions look to continue their chase to catch up with log leaders Power Dynamos.

Kangwanda will add to the firepower Arrows have upfront with the likes of James Chamanga, Ricky Banda, Joseph ‘Sabobo’ Banda, Joseph Phiri and Felix Bulaya.

The Kafue Celtic product has penned a three year deal with the Chelston based outfit.

The highly rated left footed forward was not short of suitors following his splendid 2021/2022.

Kangwanda scored 12 goals in the league last season. His lone goal earned Zambia a Cosafa Cup trophy in July.
