The MTN Super League will enter week 19 over the weekend with an interesting match up as brother goes up against brother.
Nkwazi who have not been so high flying of late welcome NAPSA Stars at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
Nkwazi recently appointed Oswald Mutapa as head coach meaning he will go up against his younger brother Perry Mutapa.
The NAPSA Stars boss expects a tough match against the Zambia Police sponsored outfit.
“It is difficult to play against my brother, we grew up together and we discuss football matters together so it has not been easy. In the few games we have met, the results have ended in draws and that is never even planned,” Perry said.
“There’s a time when he was with the National Assembly and I was with Lusaka Dynamos. His team had already confirmed relegation and my team needed to win to confirm our survival, he gave us a tough test and we drew that match, luckily we survived owing to other results, so you could see that with us, it’s always business as usual,” he added.
NAPSA Stars have won their last two matches against Prison Leopards FC and Red Arrows FC recording 4-1 and 3-1 respectively.
Mutapa has already moved on from the win and is forced on the Nkwazi game.
“The game against Arrows is done and dusted and now we have to work for the Nkwazi game because if we won’t, they will surprise us. We have to ensure that we do better in the second round.”
Meanwhile Oswald Mutapa wants his team to win at home because that’s the only way they will get out of the relegation zone.
“We should pick up from where we left off. We are playing home and if we want to get out of the relegation zone we need to win home games. It won’t be easy because NAPSA Stars are coming from a win against the defending Champions,” he said.
“Nothing really special about it just like any other game,Nkwazi playing NAPSA that’s it.”
