Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa scored once and set up another as Hapoel Be’er Sheva secured a 2-0 victory over Maccabi Bnei Raina in the Israeli Premier League.
Kangwa provided the assist for the opening goal in the 24th minute, teeing up Mohamad Kanaan to break the deadlock, before sealing the win with a well-taken strike just after the hour mark.
The result lifts Be’er Sheva back to the top of the league standings on 48 points, reinforcing their title credentials.
Kangwa’s latest contribution takes his tally to 10 goal involvements this season, with the Zambian international now boasting six goals and four assists in all competitions.
Compatriot Emmanuel Banda played the full 90 minutes for Maccabi Bnei Raina, but was unable to prevent defeat against the league leaders.
