Kamfisa Police Blue Eagles have shot to the summit of the Eden University Women’s Super League following a big margin win over ZISD Women.
Kamfisa came from a goal down to beat ZISD 6-2 at Independence Stadium in Lusaka.
Malawian Tendai Sani who was making her Eden University Women’s Super League debut put ZISD in the lead just 20 minutes into the match.
Namakau Mwangala scored a hat-trick while Memory Mambwe, Angela Galufu and Gift Kalwizhi scored a goal each.
Sani scored her second of the match from 12 yards to reduce the deficit to just four goals.
Elsewhere, Rachel Moono’s second half goal was enough as Green Eagles edged Luyando Foundation Girls 1-0.
At Queensmead, YASA Queens frustrated Green Buffaloes holding them to a goalless draw.
