Zambia end CHAN outing with another loss 

The Chipolopolo Boys suffered a fourth straight defeat to end their 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament without recording a single win. 

Heading into the match both Grant and his captain Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba said they wanted to end the tournament on a high with a win but it was Kenya who walked away with the maximum points. 

Ryan Ogam’s 76th minute goal was the difference as Kenya edged Zambia to finish top of the group with 10 points. 

Prior to this tournament Zambia had never lost a group stage game at the CHAN tournament. 

Avram Grant’s men have conceded 8 goals and only managed to score two goals in this year’s tournament.
