Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) President Andrew Kamanga has urged the fans to be on their best behaviour when the Chipolopolo Boys host Ivory Coast this Friday in a 2025 AFCON qualifier.
Kamanga says the Association wants to avoid facing any facing sanctions as a result of fans exhibiting stone age behaviour.
Kamanga has also said that FAZ is working closely with the government through the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts to ensure that preparations for the back-to-back fixtures are on point.
Kamanga was speaking in his Weekly write up, the President’s corner as monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.
“We also wish to appeal to fans that have made it a habit to pelt missiles on the pitch either in celebration or protest to be at their best behaviour. We are sitting precariously in the eyes of the football authorities and do not want to face any sanctions as a result of fans exhibiting stone age behaviour,” Kamanga said.
