Kabwe Warriors were held to a goalless draw by local rivals Prison Leopards but it was enough to extend their lead on top of the log to 11 points (on 54 points) after their closest rivals Lusaka Tigers and Nampundwe both lost their games against Kafue Celtic and Matero United respectively.
Prison Leopards are also now firmly in the race for promotion as they moved to 40 points three points behind Tigers and Nampundwe.
In the North League, Lumwana Radiants handed the advantage to Kalulushi Modern Stars after they lost 2 – 0 away to Chambishi. But they will be comforted to see that Kalulushi who are now on 46 points only managed to pick a point off Zesco Solwezi to go one point clear.
Konkola Mine Police continue to sink after they posted their 16th loss of the season against Zesco Luapula.

I Was just re-looking at the League Table. It looks like Prison Leopards is a very strong team. They have just lost once. If only they could improve on their draws, they can be quite high on the table or even lead it. The problem with draws is that, you need 3 to equal 1 win.
And it would be nice to have two super league teams from Kabwe
