Janza: We have learnt that we need to score to progress

Honour Janza (Chipolopolo Coach) –

The game of football is about scoring, if you don’t score, u can’t win. We [lost] because we couldn’t score.

On Mweene opting to allow a goal instead of him being sent off after the howler which gifted Malawi the goal –

It was a difficult situation for Mweene, it [mistakes] happens at times, he didn’t want it to be like that [being sent off], and he is always there for the team. It will stick in his head, but we have to help him come back.

Football is like that, it is a lesson, it takes a bit of concentration. We made a mistake against Malawi and they punished us.

The lessons we have learnt are that we need to score goals if we have to go forward and we should concentrate.

  5. “The game of football is about scoring, if you don’t score, u can’t win. We [lost] because we couldn’t score.” This is nigga is a joke that’s for sure.

    • Man, I used to think this guy was going to really try to make our national team to be a formidable one in Africa.Alas, with this kind of results we are getting with him,I see actuary things turning the other way around. We are becoming very average team. It is very vital to bring in some one else with proven record to take over.

    • Jackson Mwanza is powerfull player, need Jackson ku left, Alex Ngonga ku right.
Iwe John you are mistaking Bornwell Mwape and Patson Daka who have taken Kola’s positions.
Jackson just grabbed Chris Katongo’s number, and he is playing 4 times better than Chris.

  6. So he didn’t know all this while that the game of football is about scoring?? This guy is a joke. He needs an education.

  7. Apart from the result, how did we play? Ba zamfoot help those of us who didn’t watch the match. Quoting the coach without analysis of the match helps no one.

  8. This Tonga bull of a coach is now very irritating…how long is he going to learn? His comments are very annoying.

  9. Emotions aside, ba Zamfoot can you please give us the match report. We are all disappointed with the result but some of us would like a bit more details. Was this a fluke result or was it something we deserved. Can’t rely on Janza’s quotes

  10. This guy must be smoking something prohibited and not only him Infact even those greedy pathetic,do not care clowns at football house, there is a saying that shyness is being human but this guy is just some out this planet. Please even if we do not have money for coach let just make National team coach less.

  11. Mr Janza, learnin Is A Process Which Needs Patience.Zambians Av Bein Patient Enough Waitin For Results.Learnin Wil Not Take Place If You Repeat Same Mistakes.Just Resign Mr Learnin And Look For A Club Were U Wil Polish Up You Skill And Tactics.Think Big Man.

  12. @ NOSTRA Jackson Mwanza can’t be compared with C Katongo. How many goals has he scored for the national team compared to Katongo? the later was a fighter % scorer.
As I watched Mwanza he was failing to shoot on target & his passes were defective at all times.
I mostly read & respect your comments, but for you to say Jackson is 4 times better than Chris baffles me.

  13. where is the game against gunie bissau goign to be played at?can some one please tell em coz i cant fin anywhere the venue,,,not on faz website either,,,

  14. Sigh. Which coach including amateur coaches doesn’t know this? I am honestly disappointed in this man. I defended him thinking he could eventually turn this team around but he is clearly clueless. If we can’t hire a foreign coach, why not advertise the job locally and go through a legitimate hiring process.
