Chipolopolo coach Honour Janza has said the loss to Namibia is a learning curve for his team as they picked a lot of lessons from the loss to the Southern neighbors which condemned the incumbent Champions out of the race for the title.
Speaking after the seeing his team go down on penalties at the expense of Namibia, Janza said his team needed to win the game in regulation time.
“I think we needed to win the game in the 90 minutes but the goals didn’t come” Janza said.
“For me its a nice lesson. I want to congratulate Namibia for the gallant fight, I think the boys fought we did what we could do but we could not break them. Namibia played good football because they closed us down,” he added.
“We learnt a lot I think there are lesson we have picked from the loss, we will talk about it with the boys but I think its a learning curve, its a good competition unfortunately we missed it.”
Zambia lost 5 – 4 to Namibia after Emmanuel Mbola missed his spot kick.

But how many times is this idiot going to say this? We can not continue subsidizing his living at the expense of tax payers money, its not fair.
Is that learning going to end? Why take opportunity on us, and use us for LEARNING? I thought we need someone already LEARNT?
This shameful Janza is wasting my tax. Sub standard learner. Always learnin. Is Kalu gone mad now? Cant believe he played football! Fire this dull Janza or people will protest for wasting tax.
No sir, enough is enough,You never learn. We have been here before.Resign while you still can.Winning is what defines a Good Coach,we have been patient this far!
Learning!!…seriously…JANZA IS STILL LEARNING!…FROM NAMIBIA???..
How many lessons are you going to learn iwe kolwe?Kuya iwe
I think Kalu was right to say he is not the right person for the national team.
Just saying it isn’t enough.Kalu has got to take actions. No womder government come on Board.with such lackluster performances
*govermment won’t..
How many times are we going to have lessons at the expense of winning crucial matches. At the time we are thinking we a champions who should be able to defend the cup, that’s when the coach is busy experimenting. What does he do in the camps that he can’t experiment there during training to find the right combination of players instead of experimenting during matches, then he even tells the world that it is a good lesson? Instead of him teaching, he is busy learning even from minors. Very embarrassing indeed!
Useless Janza just go, we need an experienced coach from out side. What can you learn from Namibia just Go! Fuckoff boy!
We have learnt a lot all the time. What is knowledge if you can’t apply it. Just resign ba Janza. National team is too much for you.
Do you still find it not necessary to call Rogers Kola to the zambian national side? Zambia must take note of my advice. Small players is not the way to go in football. Jimmy Ndhlovu is one of them and did you see how he
Struggled on 50/50 tussles? Another example occurred in the ZPL yesterday in the game that Nkana lost. The player who playd sweeper for kalampa is one of these popular brands of small beings. You saw how he got bundled off the ball before the scorer of the second goal put it past the goalie for the second goal. Do you consider these incidents no to be your weakness still? Come on it s time to grow.Zambia must not be in the same class with minnows.
Only a f00l can say Janza is a right man for Zambia!!this coach has failed beyond limits!!!am sure he has lost it and cosafa was his last chance!!
And some foolish Coaches in Zambia will say give Janza a contract. Stupid!
Clueless coach ,you carry a madalas team and you still lose
Kalu knows football very much than us supporters . When he brought Renard people were saying he is corrupt Now what can you say on Janza . Lastly Patson Daka is going far in his career
I see us learning from kenya coz Janza wants to learn all the time, zamfoot come up with a petition so we can sign this man has to go!
Noooo man. Just resign. Nonsense. You’re not good enough for Zambia. How can you play amapulanga like, Donashano Malama, Justine Zulu, Jackson Mwanza, Komdwani Mtonga? I agree with Big Steve that we should have taken players from the U23 & U20. Not these finished players.
Surely, learning at the expense of minnows Namibia, kwena Janza you even have the courage to say that what can we say if your employer is your friend I say so because the disgrace you and Kalu has made as pass through has been so unbearable and yet he,Kalu ,has not fired you and the entire national team to him it is a learning phase even now from useless Namibia awe kwena.
evn ZnBC has seen that our national team nima rubbish nowanda thy preferred showing th local league gamz rathr than th Losepolopolo game. #Janza Kalusha=Pathetic results. ,
This failure has been given too many chances and he won’t learn. The more we keep him the more he will keep disgracing us. FAZ FIRE this fool!!
One of the WORST coaches ever to have coached the national team. It’s time to GO!!! PATHETIC!!
I will write a strong e-mail to FAZ Janza can loss even though he use U23. Let’s get it right gentleman. Janza can’t work alone
Granted, learning is good in life but let Janza go and learn at some Club before he continues tarnishing the image of our football.
Please Janza in Jesus ‘s name find some National team some where am pretty sure your best friend can help you in that case as he has enough connections to help you. Zambia National team is soo big a footballing country to be learning from useless football countries like Namibia as with you go and do your learning course some where else.
Is this Chancer Zambian? The worst coach in the history of football. Learning from minnows Namibians?
Nangu isukulu bala pwisha, surely why are we keeping this idiot!how can you put mudenda on bench and expect Barnwell misfire mwape to score.janza you are suitable to coach academies like chibolya youth academy not our national team.i think you have literally failed to improve.try to join makembo
Let chris katongo successed this useles person so called janza.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
what chris katongo? you are also mad!
The following players have real quality and must be called to the national team. Rodgers kola, fwayo tembo, lubambo musonda and Mayuka. These 4 must be called. An apology to fwayo and kola should also be made. Players like Jackson mwanza must never put on the jersey again.
Don’t just blame the coach alone. The players selected were also pathetic. Jackson mwanza, bornwell mwape, ndlovhu etc these useless players can’t score a goal anywhere. Rodgers kola and fwayo need to come in.
But who selected them? Is it not pathetic Janza?
If you play Bornwell Mwape then you need players around him who will play to his strengths. How many plays were made towards his strengths? Zambia cant even string two passes together lets call a spade a spade Kalusha is the only foot FA president who lives outside the country of his employers and the results at all levels show onto of that he is guilty of embezzling funds intended for youth development! How can one possibly justify his continued stay as FAZ president when even his hand picked coach says the results are pathetic! If the head is rotten then dont expect the tail not to be rotten!
This loss is a blessing in disguise. We needed this to happen. This reality check couldn’t have come in a better mode than a full Zambia national team being embarrassed by a so called minor team like Namibia. A disaster of the highest order. We’ve swam in past glories for too long and we have over hyped ourselves so much to the point where we have ignored the writing on the wall. That’s why I believe this loss is truly a blessing in disguise.
Good point. Brother. Sometimes u have to “suffer in order to gain”. The pnly language some administrators understand
It is time this man packed the bags and went. He cannot be learning at the expense of the team.
And Kalu?? Did Janza choose himself, was the process transparent??
Honour Janza and the entire technical bench plus the kit manager should be fired immediately after the COSAFA.
And Kalu?? Did Janza choose himself, was the process transparent????
Ohh !! thank God people have seen what some of us saw a long time ago. What a piece of shit coming from Janza !! Learning this time ? Qualifiers are coming up soon and someone is talking about learning ?
By the way, when was the last time Zambia got knocked out in cosafa before this Janza coach ?
in quater finals
With all due respect to Namibia they won fair & square but Zambia contributed heavily to their downfall, why take the game to penalties in the first place? If we can’t beat Namibia within 90mins then something is really wrong with us.. .. Janza Out!! Simple!
God is trying to tell us something pliz kalu and janza must leave football house with their so called uefa A,B qualifications
To be honest we don’t have striker’s . 2015 edition is cruel cosafa big3 are booted out Zambia .Zimbabwe. Xenophobia sa . Now I put my money on Namibia
You see what I dislike about Janza?his guts instead of saying he is sorry and he is resigning immediately he’s talking about the learning curve what learning curve?
Jack Chamangwane and his compatriot said it after losing 2 nil to Zambia. Facebook players are the order of the day. They don’t want to die a little on the field of play.
Can someone please go away before we get humiliated again? Someone is not waiting for Zambians to throw stones before they come to know it is about time, right?
The loss to Namibia is very welcome. atleast it will open some people’s eyes, bafana bafana also knocked out by the zebras. It would have been much better if Namibia had beaten us by 1 or 2 goals in regular time. Anyway, this is great news to Zambian football.
you can talk but what matters is am getting payed.
No wonder you have no contract continue learning from Namibia fool!
