I want to be a big player – Klings Kangwa

Zambia national team midfielder Klings Kangwa has expressed happiness at being part of the Chipolopolo squad in Morocco. Kangwa believes playing high profile games a good step for him as he wants to become a big player.

The Buildcon midfield ace is thankful to the technical bench for having included him in the squad.

“These games have helped me because they are international games. I like playing big games because I want to become a big player. So far am happy that am playing in every game,” He told the ZamFoot Crew.

“I would like to thank the coaches for believing in me, It’s not easy to be included in the senior national team especially looking at my age,” he added.

Kangwa is confident they will beat Ivory Coast as they are ready to fit the match. He feels the team has played well in the two games despite losing against Cameroon.

“We played well against Cameroon despite losing, We did not get discouraged we just liked forward to our next game and we managed to beat Morocco which is what we wanted. We now look forward to the game against Ivory Coast. It won’t be easy but we are ready to fight and am sure we are winning,” he said.

“So far so good. Everything is okay. The senior players are encouraging us and advising me a lot,” he added.

Zambia was invited by the Royal Morocco Football Federation and started their three-match tour of North Africa, Europe and the Middle East against Cameroon losing 2-1. They beat Morocco 3-2 in their second game and will conclude their tour against Ivory Coast on Wednesday.
