Emmanuel Mayuka says he remains a Southampton player despite the rumors which were peddled that he was on the verge of being released by Southampton.
Mayuka said yesterday that he does not entertain rumors and will remain focused on his team.
“I do not entertain rumors and I don’t care, unless it came from the club,” Mayuka said.
Mayuka is currently in camp with the Zambia national team preparing for the game against Ethiopia.
Other players who trained with the team despite not having initially been on the list are Lubambo Musonda and Evans Kangwa.
Bornwell Mwape, Fwayo Tembo and Aaron Katebe are the other foreign based players already in camp.
The Zambia national team will leave for Ethiopia tomorrow and will travel straight to Ndola on return.
The 2012 African Champions will on Sunday play Ethiopia in an international friendly in Addis Ababa before returning to Zambia where they will meet Guinea Bissau at Levy Mwanawasa stadium on June 13.
A week later Zambia has an assignment against Namibia in Windhoek for the first leg of the Rwanda 2016 CHAN games.

Don’t care about rumours but start caring about game time.
Exactly my thought. instead of running his mouth, he needs to work hard and quit getting fat and displaced by useless players at his club.
this boy is talented but dull he must leave the saints he will never play.
I am still protesting. Janza why are you not calling kola? What has he done to you?
John take a pan and go hit that potato head, maybe he will listen then.
Thats good new Mayuka, but please work extra hard and fight for a place in the first team. All the best.
@john sometimes patience pays .its either the coach or other stakeholders could have seen something in this boy but its unfortunate that he is not been given chance hence keeping him at the club.
Up to when?
I thought mayuka was not picked for the coming game
i think muyuka must leave hs club for hm to be active

Finally Jackson Mwanza droped from the 19 man squad that is leaving for Ethiopia but Donashano is still in the team.
