ZESCO Ndola Girls have already sealed their first Eden University Women’s Super League title but more history is on the cards for one of their players.
For the club they are looking to end the season without defeat after going 33 matches without a loss, winning 30 matches and drawing 3.
Penelope Mulubwa could break a four year rebord held by Orlando Pride forward Grace Chanda of the most goals scored in the Women’s Super League in a single season.
In 2021, Chanda scored 35 goals in the league to walk away with the top goalscorerâs gong
which has not been broken since.Â

Mulubwa who has been on fire this season has scored 35 goals so far matching the record set in 2021 and just needs a goal to break it.
Mulubwa’s 35 strikes have helped ZESCO Ndola Girls end Green Buffaloes’ dominant run of winning the women’s topflight four years in a row.
Mulubwa has scored several trebles including seven goals netted against Play It Forward in a 17-1 bashing of the relegated Livingstone based outfit.
Mulubwa has 90 minutes against Trident Queens at Sentinel Ground to break the record and end what has been a near perfect season both for her and the club.
