Guinea Bissau have taken charge of group E after they shot to the summit following back to back wins over Kenya.
The group E minnows stunned the Harambe Stars in Nairobi with a disputed goal 6 minutes from time which saw the Kenyan fans protest for over an 30 minutes.
With Zambia and Congo playing to a 1 – 1 draw, the West Africans took advantage of the state of affairs to stand on 7 points while Zambia and Congo are on 6 points apiece.
Congo are in second position with a better goal difference over Zambia.
Zambia next play away in Guinea Bissau on 3rd June before completing the qualifiers against Kenya at home.
