Zambian Women’s Football giants Green Buffaloes Women Football Club is off to South Africa for the Inaugural of the COSAFA Women’s Inter-Club Champions League slated for South Africa from 26th August to 4th September 2021.
The Zambia Army Sponsored side is in Group B alongside Black Rhinos from Zimbabwe and Tura Magic from Namibia.
The Coach Charles Haalubono Charles drilled lasses will start the COSAFA journey with Black Rhinos on 27th August, 2021 before facing Tura Magic 4 days later with both matches set for King Zelwathini Stadium with a kick-off time of 15:00hrs and all the games will be broadcasted on COSAFA.tv.
The COSAFA Women’s Inter-Club Championship is also a qualifier for the Inaugural 2021 Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League which will be hosted by Egypt later this year.
Coach Haluboono has named a 26-member squad for this historical tournament.
