Green Buffaloes to unveil Masauso Tembo, new players and playing kit

Zambia Super League side, Green Buffaloes are set to unveil Masauso Tembo as the new head coach.

As earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew, Tembo will be unveiled at Arakan Barracks  this morning.

The Zambia Army sponsored outfit first held talks with the young gaffer back in June after he left FC MUZA.

Tembo will officially take over from Justin Chinama who was sent on administrative leave in March following a string of poor results.

Australia Mweemba acted as head coach in his absence deputised by former Chipolopolo defender Buchizya Mfune.

Tembo on the other hand helped FC MUZA to secure qualification to the MTN Super League.

The club has also appointed 2012 AFCON winner, Felix ‘Jet Li’ Katongo who will be the club’s new physical trainer.

The club is also expected to officially unveil the newly acquired players. The ZamFoot Crew understands that Mwiza Siwale and Fanwell Mapulanga will lead the list of new players.

Buffaloes will also unveil their playing kit for the 2022/2023 MTN Super League season.

The Zambia army sponsored outfit was in Kawambwa for pre-season training last month in preparation for the 2022/2023 MTN/FAZ Super League which kicks off this Saturday.

Tembo will open the new season with a familiar opponent as Green Buffaloes will head south and face newly promoted Maestro United, his immediate former team.
