  1. Zambia will beat Sudan. But that team would be mince meat if it u were to meet Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria or any big gun in africa. Team selection has to change in the group stage.

  2. Ba chicken GEORGE,The game is not yet won. these boys at the back? there is more pressure at home from fans than away. ONCE Sudan scores first We will be in trouble.

  3. DE GAME IS NOT YET OVER, WHY STARTING WITH CHEPESHI? DOT OVER WORKED SUNZU, MALAMA SHUD HV START. U ARE NOW GIVING CHANCE TO DE SUDANESE, THEY CAN SUPRISE US AT OUR HOME GROUND.

  4. IF THEY SCORE FIRST IT WIL BE VERY DIFFICULT 4 US TO EQUARISE, THEY CAN FORCE THIS GAME TO PERNALTIES. WE DONT CHANGE A WINING TEAM. PATHETIC LWANDAMINA HE THINK THAT WE HV ALREADY QUALIFY.

  5. WITH THIS LINEUP I DONT THINK WE CAN BEAT THEM. KABASO & MALAMA THEY PLAYED VERY WELL LAST TIME & THEY KEEP FARIS ABDALLAR, I DONT THINK CHEPESHI CAN DO IT. WE WIL BE IN TRABLE ON THIS RIGHT BACK.

  6. Rainford Kalaba is out due to fever and not injury. I personally feel we need to start using sautu.if we don’t we will end up using him late like kalengo. Sautu is that player with a spark he is young skillful n smart on the ball. And this goes for moses Phiri another underutilized talent. We risk not benefiting like we have not done with one Kennedy mudenda

  7. We are in trouble.but why starting with chepeshi when we have katebe and malama?then better to bench sunzu.mark my word chepeshi will not handle that position.this is the reason y professionals turn down the call ups.if this chicken knew had chepishi y calling katebe.better sudan win kanshi because chicken doesn’t know how much we love soccer.

  8. Rainfod Kalaba is out due to fever and not injury. I personally feel we need to start using sautu.if we don’t we will end up using him late like kalengo. Sautu is that player with a spark he is young skillful n smart on the ball. And this goes for moses Phiri another underutilized talent. We risk not benefiting like we have not done with one Kennedy mudenda a big talent we managed badly

  9. We need a lot of wing play. Mbesuma and players like Kangwa thrive on this kind of play fom the wings. The Lucky Msiskas, Mwitwas and sometimes Kalaba puts in those crosses from the wing.
At the moment we trying to force things from the middle. Our midfield is disjointed. I wish Chisamba was here with Kalaba injured.

  10. Great pass by Sunzu to find Kalengo in the box but Kalengos first touch was not good. He went for a header instead of bringing it down.

  11. @Nsomba we watching on Supersport HD 3. Not sure if there is a link. A bit of movement in the middle now. Sinkala doing well but the final ball is disappointing.

  12. The display by Zambia can be described as characterized by confusion. There is no proper display of football. Who could see that Zambia is missing mature midfield players like Kalaba and Chisamba. This boy Katema is just running around like a headless chicken with no direction. lubambo Musonda is doing well. Sinkala as usual is keeping the midfield stable. Chepeshi as usual is a major suspect. I don’t know why Chicken George loves this useless defender. Malama or Kabaso should have started at right back.Overall our defence is OK. As for the striking force, its not their fault that they can’t score as there are not being fed with balls. Mbesuma is a shadow of himself in this match so far.

    • In my opinion Katema played very well…the strategy was to cover spaces and chase every ball.If you don’t understand the role he was playing it is very easy to mistake him as not doing anything.Given chance to watch him again you will agree with me…the lad is hardworking, pivotal in the midfield…he should just work on being calm whenever he gets possession of the ball and stop being wasteful.I see the rebirth of I. Chansa from him with proper coaching.

  13. But why does Kalusha fail to call fwayo tembo. You need players who can create. Fwayo is fully fit why ignore him. The problem Kalusha has is one a player is in europe he is reluctant to call him because he will not benefit from the sale of that player.

  14. At @Paddy that’s where we lacking now, natural wingers or a player who take matters in his own hand. Those days we had people like Kalu, Mwitwa…..
We need a skillful player who can keep these guys busy. At the moment we playing a direct way in the middle. The Sudanse are just sitting at the back and clearing every ball.
That’s where you need a Tactical Coach who can make tactical changes. I expected the Coach to have done something by now.

  15. @ Alexx the Serbians make very good Coaches. This Miliutin Sredojevic guy has tried his best with Uganda despite them not having depth.

    • Tell me about it bro, Uganda has ordinary players but are playing good football , Eastern Europeans do well with African countries.

  16. This is horrendous. We need to get serious before we get to the next round. We need players and a serious coach. I can’t believe what I am watching.

  17. We must take that serbian coach from Uganda can the Zambian government hire that coach. That man will take zambia to the world cup I can see a good coach when I see one. With the players that zambia have that man can do wonders. George is pathetic he did not call enough wingers now he is failing to beat this weak Sudan at home.

  18. At the moment we sitting on a “time bomb” if Sudan was to score the pu will wind the clock down and play for penalties. Gabon and Mozambique game last night was decided on penalties.

  19. This coach lwandimina is pathetic me I would have selected the right players for this encounter walloped Sudan 4-0. The guy is f00lisb his team selection is so poor there is now zambia will do well in the group stage with this kind of nonsense.

  20. I think some of our players are not just good enough. It’s not just a matter of operating mechanically, but one has to use his brain. I think that distinguishes good players from average players.

  21. Finally a goal after a corner was not cleared it fell to Lubambo after a powerful header by Kalengo, Keeper kept the heard er out on to the cross bar and the rebound it fell to Lubambo.

  22. I am also not happy this Sudan team is weak. Remember Sudan has been split into south Sudan as well weakening this team. It is really simple send a letter to astra and call fwayo. Send a letter to ural and call chisamba. If we don’t call solid boys for the next round we will be whipped by the likes of Ghana and Algeria mark my words.

  23. Kalengo and Mayuka partnership mark my words will destroy the whole African continent at afcon 2017. What we need is that serbian coach to replace lwandimina

  24. Eish, that Kalengo goal. I have not seen a Zambian player take on the defence and put in the net like that in such a long time. This guy is domething else, how he has not been part of national team all this time is beyond me

  25. Yes we have won, but we still have a mountain to climb. We are now going to face big teams in the next round. My hope is that our experienced players like Mayuka, Chisamba, Kalaba, etc will be in tip top form by then. I am still not convinced with this display. A better team could have beaten Sudan by 4-0. Those young players still have a lot to learn especially Katema, Chepeshi and Chirwa. My outstanding players for the day are Kalengo, Sinkala, Mfune, Lubambo and Sunzu.

    • Just say congratulations ! Always looking for negatives! Each game is new and has difference levels of motivation and anger! If you watch real football you will notice that the big teams are actually suffering., look at Ghana , Nigeria, Mali, Moroco etc. their is no small team in Africa any more. Nigeria failing to beat small Swaziland with 2 Million people?

  26. i have a problem with chaps who like commenting on issues they haven’t watched. Boyd and Benedict have absolutely fantastic today and at ni point were they skinned. We have qualified and that is the most important thing. Remember this team is work in progress and every time these guys play you can see that they are improving. @john the problem you have is that you rely on the Internet my friend. Sorry to burst your bubble but local football has improved and those internationals you keep calling for will find it really tough to break into the team. Viva young players viva progress

  27. Well done Chipolopolo, Sudan opened the game after conceding a goal by Lubambo Musonda. Kalengo is a complete striker. Mayuka, Jacob and Fwayo Tembo should be welcomed to bring stability in the midfield and striking force.

  28. @ tc soccerman hats off to you my man. With you around I’m assured of watching all the qualifiers coming up ahead. You’re indeed a soccer man

  29. Zambian fans first they start complaining complain dress down players like Chepeshi and so on then when a player plays well they change and start complimenting. Well what can we say we are used to this. Every coach who comes he is clueless useless so on so forth. Now someone is even calling for the recall of Renah and his useless backroom staff are we really serious? Congrats to Chipolopolo u have made us proud weldone Chicken George

  30. Congratulations. Chipolopolo, am impressed with the two full backs today but I honestly think we should not rush these players into the senior team especially chepeshi, let him be groomed and U23 for boyed he has improved very much…..the important thing is that we have progressed with a clean sheet, congratulations CHIPOLOPOLO

  31. I think it’s better to give credit where it is due ; they young lads chepeshi and Boyd accounted themselves well; Congrantes for completing the job well guys you are our songs and sometimes you have faced unmerited criticism by most fans keep working hard!

  32. For that one who was talking about Herve Renard, the only thing I appreciate Renard is that wen he was Zambian couch players were very fit…Nathan, Sunzu, Kalaba, Chisamba, Mayuka the guys were very fit but now the fitness levels have gone down. Please Sunzu and Sinkala work on your fitness levels

  33. You people what is in your mind, now u are saying Sundan is a weak team but u are the same people some days ago who were saying the young fullbacks wil not hold the Sundanes strikes whom u were even naming they names. What happens to them.

  34. Leave lwandamina alone he is gaining experience and he will never sell out like renard did after getting free points from sudan and he disappointed with lesotho.

  35. To add on kalengo is lwandamina boy taking one of them out will cost the team heavily .lwandaninas is building the team around kalengo as his reference point.what lwandamina needs is a technical assistant and some coaching lessons to mentor him for the upcoming games.we dont want another coach to start experiments .kangwa and other pro need more friendlies to blend with lwandamina tactics. Faz needs to find good opponents in europe and south america and faz also need a good fundraising manager.go zambia go 2018 russia here we come.

  36. Just say congratulations ! Ghana miss firing in Comoros . Every one is pushing these days encourage the team and the young players coming up. Not always calling for old legs who are tired and not eager to achieve more. Boyd is a dame good left back!

  37. Great to win. Congratulations. However, Zambia should start playing proper entertaining soccer. From the reports.. it looks like there is a lot to do. It means we have regressed. We should control things more. There is some improvement, but we should do more. Control the game more.

  38. iwe do u want as to go in jacob s pants en say sorry ba boss tiyeni tukateye tase one should sucrifice to play for the country.zambian boys from abroad should see what others do…stop pleadin bakapwapofye we had great players than them wer re they bafyatile oooh ba guy.for faz also please u should hear our cry learn to put the house in order make a god relationship with our boys playin professioner football lets them feel that closiness en love.for all the new boys churwa is doin fine.
