The problem is that Janza is neither a tactician nor a good team selector. All the games Zambia has lost have been due to poor tactics. He is mo into theory than practice. Gentlemen Rodgers kola as we speak is the hottest African striker in Israel. His club has finished second in the Israel league. It remains to be seeing if he will stay in Israel with such form. His club gent in belgium are rumoured to want him back. I am so angry with this f00l called Janza. Jackson mwanza is total nonsense why is he in the team?

I have noticed that Mr. Janza is biased towards ZESCO UTD players, particularly trying to market a failure like Jackson Mwanza who has failed to tick in national colours and in Sudan.

One would have expected the likes of Lubambo Musonda, Jacob Mulenga,or even Mbesuma in the team.

Janza is being personal on ZESCO players at the expense of the nation. His philosophy of using two defensive midfielders is misplaced and thats what made them lose the COSAFA because there was no creativity in the attacking midfield role.

If Janza has to succeed let him explore the option of using two speedy wingers like Allan Mukuka, Lubambo Musonda, Kennedy Mudenda, Chisamba Lungu and take the Captain Rainford Kalaba or Mukuka Mulenga in the attacking midfied role. This will help him get b the best out of Kalaba, who in many occasions is packed in the wing and sometimes fail to read his lines and usually caught offside.
My point is that we have plenty of options on the wings but we lack a Charles Musonda type of midfieder, where kalaba, being a captain can play a big role that using lucky and jelly legged defensive midfieders like Mtonga and Justine zulu who in my view are very slow.

For strikers we need someone intelligent like Mbesuma to make things happen.

I was at Nkoloma stadium on sunday listening from Vincent mwale being interviewed.he said we are tired of the same story of,it was an eye opener whenever we lose the game.He said we were booted out of afcon 2013 and 2015 and now cosafa and the coach still says eye opener.
on the issue of engaging an expatriate coach ,he said that government has no money and they can only inform FAZ to hire a coach when the sponsors are found.So far one or two sponsors are being talked to ,says mwale.

I know it takes a while to build a team but Janza looks determined to build the team endlessly. I am one of the bloggers here who stuck my neck out in support of him but seriously, I am having second thought about his capability and capacity to deliver anything meaningful during our life time. Only in Zambia do you leave out a striker who scored 14 goals in all competitions in Israel and instead select a striker like Bornwell Mwape who scored 2. Janza has lost me on all fronts. Even if Zambia win 3-0 I will not be a believer in this team, because sooner rather than later they will be exposed.

This Janza and his task master Kalu are pathetic to say the least. I suspect Kalu hates Kola. He did the same thing to Jonas Sakuwaha until he finished him. If there was a way we could have protested.

Based on the current state of our team, Rodger Kola and Mayuka should be in the team. Kola has had a very successful season. Mayuka hasn’t played much but he is clearly head and shoulders above any of the strikers that have been called up. The fact that he hasn’t seen enough game time doesn’t mean he hasn’t been training at his club. So the question of match fitness doesn’t hold any water. While I can see the coach’s reasoning in Mayuka’s case, I don’t think it’s sensible owing to the fact that we don’t have the luxury of reliable and proven goal scorers outside Mayuka and Jacob Mulenga. This is all the more reason why Kola should’ve been called up.

And good to see Fwayo “Balotelli” Tembo back in the fold. I hope he can repay the faith shown in him with a strong performance. Whether as a midfielder or as a striker he always looks the type that’s got a goal in him.

Kuku you have a point there. Sate sate is a goal poacher…if there is no supply then u wont see him in the game. Just like you have indicated we don’t have that creative midfielder a ‘Pirlo’ that’s the reason why strikers like sate sate who are efficient on goal find it difficult. That’s the reason why I feel Jacob/mbesuma or kola are best suited for the position because they can keep the defenders busy or drifting defenders out of position and creating space for other players to score.
