Power Dynamos could open a six point lead at the summit of the MTN Super League table if they manage to beat ZESCO United.
Oswald Mutapa’s side are currently top of the table with 54 points, three adrift of second placed ZESCO United.
Mutapa and the Kitwe based side are now being viewed as the favourites to win the 2024/2025 Super League season.
However it would have been a different story had Abayellow lost any of the first of the last nine games.
Mutapa and his entire technical bench were given an ultimatum just before the Indeni game, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
The technical bench were asked to accumulate 10 points out of a possible 12 points by the technical bench.
Mutapa and his team have now accumulated 25 points out of a possible 27 points as they have gone nine games without defeat.
Power Dynamos are now just six wins (give or take ) away from winning their eighth Super League title.

On Paper the ZESCO United game at home and the much anticipated and talked about Kopala derby against Nkana away at Chilata are the toughest fixtures for Mutapa’s side.
However they also have matches against spoilers like ZANACO are embroiled in the relegation battle, Green Eagles and stubborn Nkwazi. The other games sees them square off with NAPSA Stars and Nchanga Rangers.
The Ndeke based side last won the league in 2023 under Mwenya Chipepo and are keen to move closer to their rivals Nkana (13) in terms of league titles won.
They also have a small matter of the ABSA Cup where they face Airpower in the round of 16.
Should Mutapa win a double for Abayellow he will finally put a stamp of approval on his status as one of the best coaches in the country.
