The MTN Super League entered week 10 of action on Saturday with six matches taking place.
With the Zambia U-23 National team taking on Sierra Leone in Lusaka, All Super League matches were pushed to Sunday in the Nation’s capital.
The biggest match of the day and arguably the week saw the defending Champions visit the record 13 time Champions, Nkana but it was a disappointing goalless draw in the end.
At the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Forest Rangers ended the Collect Boys, Prison Leopards 17 match unbeaten run.
Clifford Mulenga’s second half penalty was enough to secure maximum points for Ian Bakala’s side.
In Solwezi, Gerald Chisha scored the only goal of the game as Kansanshi Dynamos returned to winning ways beating FC MUZA 1-0.
The loss puts an end to an impressive 3 match unbeaten run for the Elegant Dynamites which saw them beat Nkana and Forest Rangers before holding ZESCO United.
In Chambishi, Mathews Simbeye’s lone strike was enough to hand the team their second win of the season and the first under interim boss Wellington Mujembe.
For Lumwana Radiants, the loss means they have gone three games without getting a single point.
In Kabwe, ZESCO United were held to a goalless draw by Kabwe Warriors in a match that Cyril Mwenya Chibwe was named as the player of the match.
Nchanga Rangers and Nkwazi also played to a goalless draw in Chingola.
