Enock Mwepu was yesterday paid a courtesy call by FAZ President Andrew Kamanga and FIFA Director Member Associations Africa, Gelson Fernandes.
Fernandes and Kamanga visited the former Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder at his base in London.
The duo presented the Computer with a letter from FIFA President Gianni Infantino and a World Cup ball as a sign of solidarity with the player.
The Chipolopolo skipper was forced to retire from football last month after he was diagnosed with a hereditary heart condition.
The condition, which can worsen over time, would put Enock at an extremely high risk of suffering a potentially fatal cardiac event, if he were to continue playing competitive football.
