FC MUZA record a draw away in Equatorial Guinea

FC MUZA’s CAF Confederation Cup adventure started off on a good note as they played to a 1-1 draw with Cano Sport of Equatorial Guinea.

Solomon Mpasela came off the bench to level matters and force a well deserved draw away at the Estadio de Malabo.

The Elegant Dynamites will host Cano Sport next weekend in the second leg to decide who goes to the second preliminary round.

Winner over both legs will face off against Diables Noirs from the Congo Republic in the next round.

MUZA is making their maiden appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup after a stellar season.

The Mazabuka based outfit finished second in the Super League and automatically qualified for their maiden CAF Confederation Cup.

MUZA also reached the ABSA Cup Final where they lost to Forest Rangers at a packed Woodlands Stadium.
