A FAZ stadium inspection Team consisting of Ivy Lengwe, Brian Mulenga and Simataa Simataa have started inspecting stadiums for the 2025/26 season.
On Wednesday, the team were in Chingola and Chililabombwe, and inspected Nchanga and Konkola Stadium respectively.
Fans will hope that the inspection team will not only be concerned with the playing surface and dressing room.
In the past concerns have been raised with the pitch drainage system, entry points as well as rest rooms for the fans.
For instance Lusaka’s Edwin Imboela Stadium has a limited entry gate.
“We hope some of these issues will be looked into, especially that Mr Simataa is part of the team,” Nonde Chama said.
The Zambian Premier League (ZPL) season will kick off on August 9 with the curtain raiser, the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield.
The League proper will kick off on August 16 with some exciting fixtures.
ZPL earlier released the fixtures for the 2025/26 season; for the MTN Super League and Eden University Women Super League.
