FAZ has said that the appointment of a new Chipolopolo coach will be handled by the Technical Committee.

The FAZ Executive Committee had a meeting at Lusaka’s Inter-continental Hotel but failed to conclude on Avram Grant’s replacement.

“The issue of the Head Coach for the Chipolopolo will be tackled by the Technical Committee who will forward their decision to the Executive Committee for ratification,” FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande said

“FAZ has considered the urgency of the matter and will ensure that due diligence is done in filling the vacancy left by Coach Avram Grant.”

The FAZ Technical Committee is headed by FAZ President Keith Mweemba with Kalusha Bwalya as his Vice Chairperson.

Other members are Chisanga Pule and Col Priscilla Katoba.

Former Zambia foward Kenneth Malitoli is also a member of the committee together with Patrick Phiri and Dan Kabwe.

With a local coach expected to take over, the ZamFoot Crew understands that its between Honor Janza and Moses Sichone.
