Barbra Banda makes FIFPRO Women’s World 11 for a second year in a row

Copper Queens’ captain Barbra Banda has been named in the FIFPRO Women’s World 11 for a second year in a row.

The FIFPRO Women’s World 11 is voted for by football players worldwide making the feat even more special for the players selected as it’s done by their peers.

Last year Banda made history as she became the first African to be named in the prestigious FIFPRO Women’s World XI following her remarkable year in which she guided Orlando Pride to the US National Women’s Soccer League Shield and Championship.

Moroccan skipper Ghizlane Chebbak has become only the second African to make the FIFPRO Women’s World 11.

Balloon D’or winner Aitana Bonmati has again been named as the player with the most votes. No player received more votes (2,953) from their peers for the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s #World11 than Aitana Bonmatí.

England keeper Hannah Hampton, Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze and Alexia Russo are among the other players who have made the cut.

Alexia Putellas,Ona Batlle, and Chloe Kelly have also made the best XI.
