The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has been listed as one of the Associations that has not paid affiliation fees to the National Sports Council of Zambia, the government wing that deals with all sports associations in the country.
According to information obtained by the Daily Mail, only nine of the 42 sports associations have paid affiliation fees to the National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ).
NSCZ chairperson Mwamba Kalenga said at a briefing in Lusaka that associations that will fail to pay fees by March 31 will cease to be affiliates of the mother-body.
The government funds sports associations through the NSCZ.
